MDP drafts new regulation for Parliament

Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) drafts a new parliamentary regulation. Significant changes need to be brought to the parliamentary regulation, according to MDP.

The main ruling party added the new regulation is drafted to ensure the parliament is free from corruption. In this regard, MDP said the new regulation is drafted in a way honesty and transparency can be maintained in the Parliament. Furthermore, MDP revealed the drafted regulation will be utilised in the campaign for the parliamentary elections.

The current parliamentary regulation came in to effect on March 2, 2010.
