President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has assured to solve major issues faced for the residents of Gulhi in Kaafu Atoll. The president made the remarks at the meeting held with members of Gulhi Council.
At the meeting held at President’s Office, council members said the biggest issues are faced due to the lack of land and lack of a proper water and sewerage system established in the island. The council members revealed several challenges and obstructions are faced in implementing the mandate of the council and providing services to the residents. The council also shed light on the projects initiated for the development of the island.
Meanwhile, President Solih assured to work towards solving the major issues and spoke on the importance of working collectively with a mutual target in mind to achieve the goals.
