Ministry of Health has revealed it is seeking over 480 local doctors to serve in atoll hospitals and health centres.
In separate notices, health ministry has stated the authority is seeking 164 specialist doctors and 319 senior medical officers or medical officers. While the ministry has opened application opportunity until February 14, the posts are only opened for local doctors.
Meanwhile, health ministry issued an announcement seeking 105 laboratory technologists and 17 physiotherapists. The posts were also opened only for locals.
The health ministry is exerting major efforts to train Maldivians working in the sector.
