Vice President visits Finland International School and NDA

Vice President Faisal Naseem has visited Finland International School and the offices of the National Drug Agency in Male' and Hulhumale'.

On his arrival at the premises of Kangaroo Kids International School, where Finland International School, is being operated, the vice president was welcomed by senior officials of the parent company, Islanders Education, and the principal of the school Dr. Eija Valanne. During his visit, he sought information about the operations of the school.

The vice president also expressed gratitude for the priority the company gives for the education sector and stressed on the administration's goals for the sector. He expressed confidence that with the new standards benchmarked by Finland International School, an educated and aware generation would be developed. The vice president was accompanied by Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali.

After his visit to Finland International School, Vice President Faisal Naseem visited the National Drug Agency (NDA) in Male' City. During his visit, the vice president met senior officials and employees of NDA where they shared information regarding the challenges they face.

Addressing the employees of NDA, the vice president stressed on the important role the agency plays in building a better future for the youth of Maldives whom he described as the biggest capital of the country. He also called on all employees to show loyalty and support the administration in building a bright future.

The vice president also visited the laboratory of NDA and the agency's Halfway House in Hulhumale'. Halfway House is a community based residential facility for drug addicts to assist in reintegrating them back in the community.

During his visit, the vice president met with the senior management of the institution, where he was briefed on the ongoing work and the challenges faced in carrying out the work of the institution.
