President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has expressed optimism that new King of Malaysia reign will witness additional strengthening of the close bonds of friendship between two countries.
In a congratulatory message to the new King of Malaysia Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, President Solih also expressed hope that the increased collaboration between the governments of two countries in all spheres of engagement will herald a new and positive chapter in the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Malaysia.
In the message, President congratulated new King of Malaysia on ascension to the throne, on behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on his own behalf.
