Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) has decided to submit the applications of the candidates representing the party in the parliamentary elections to the Elections Commission.
Speaking at a press conference, Campaign Spokesperson Afshan Latheef said currently the process of court clearance is underway of candidates running in the election. Afshan Latheef expressed hope to submit the forms before the end of this week after concluding court clearance and other necessary processes. She noted the submission of the forms will be celebrated colourfully.
Meanwhile, MDP has decided to compete in 86 constituencies of the parliament and officially launched its campaign in Friday.
