Sri Lankan President to make a state visit to Maldives

President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena has accepted the invitation extended by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to make a state visit to Maldives. President Solih invited President Sirisena during his ongoing state visit to Sri Lanka.

President Solih thanked President Sirisena for the warm and gracious hospitality extended to him and his delegation during the visit.

President Solih made a three-day state visit to Sri Lanka on an invitation from President Sirisena. The Maldivian President attended the official ceremony to mark the 71st National Day of Sri Lanka, as the guest of honour.
