JSC make changes to the judge's bench in multiple courts

Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has made changes to the judge's bench in multiple courts of Maldives.

In a meeting, JSC decided to transfer Criminal Court Judge Adam Arif to Drug Court, while Civil Court Judge Hussain Faiz Rashad and Drug Court Judge Ali Rasheed were appointed to the bench of Criminal Court. The changes were made upon a request from the Supreme Court in accordance with the relevant regulations, according to JSC.

Former Criminal Court Judge Adam Arif had previously worked as a prosecutor at the Prosecutor General’s Office and at one point had temporarily headed the Criminal Court.
