Vice President Faisal Naseem has concluded his trip to Huvadhoo Atoll.
During his trip, the vice president visited the islands of Dhaandhoo and Villingili in Gaafu Alifu Atoll and the islands of Gahdhoo, Madaveli, Hoandedhdhoo and Faresmaathoda in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. He held discussions with island councils regarding problems they face in various areas such as housing, utilities, education and health.
During his tour, the vice president inaugurated Masjid al Ameen mosque and The Centre of Holy Quran in Gahdhoo. He also officially inaugurated the speedboat ferry system between Faresmaathoda and Fuvahmulah City.
Vice President Faisal Naseem was accompanied by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Ahmed Zahir, Minister of Gender, Family and Social Services Shidhaatha Shareef and Minister of Education Dr. Aishath Ali.
