Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has departed to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on his first official visit to the gulf nation since assuming office.
During the visit, Minister Shahid will meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul-Aziz Al-Assaf and other high level officials of the Saudi Arabian Government. Furthermore, discussions will be held on further strengthening the historic and close bilateral ties between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia.
Minister Shahid is accompanied by the Secretary, Policy of the President’s Office Aminath Shauna, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Shiaan and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
