President's Office has opened opportunity to submit application forms for the vacant membership position of the Elections Commission.
The deadline for submission of forms is February 20. Applicants should be of 25 years of age or above, should not be a member of a political party, should not be active in political activities of a political party should be a Muslim and a Maldivian citizen, according to President’s Office.
The opportunity has been opened as the tenure of commission member Ismail Habeeb expires on March 13. The commission comprises of Ahmed Shareef, as its president, Amjad Musthafa, Ahmed Akram and Ali Nashath, in addition to Ismail Habeeb as its members.
