President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has formed Secretariat for Privatisation and Corporatisation Board and Secretariat for National Pay Commission. The two secretariats were formed on February 12, according to President’s Office.
Secretariat for Privatisation and Corporatisation Board was formed under section 17 of Privatisation, Corporatisation, Monitoring and Evaluation of Government Businesses Act. In addition, the Secretariat for National Pay Commission was formed under section 13 of National Pay Policy Act.
Secretariat of Privatisation and Corporatisation Board and Secretariat for National Pay Commission will carry the respective mandates under Ministry of Finance.
