Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi arrives in UAE on an invitation from Vice President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Makhtoum.
The defence minister is due to meet many high level dignitaries and discuss the enhancement of the defence sector of Maldives and identify areas where UAE can further assist Maldives. She will attend the International Defence Exhibition and Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi from February 17-21 and the International Defence Conference to be held on February 16.
International Defence Exhibition and Conference is a 5-day event being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. The event will feature military officials and government organisations to source technology and equipment for defence.
