Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology (MCST) has commenced Sci-Tech Lecture Series.
The lecture series was inaugurated by Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamal at a ceremony held at the auditorium of Maldives National University (MNU). The topic of the first session was "Do Algorithms Have Politics?: Artificial Intelligence, Society and Governance".
Speaking to media, Minister Maleeh said the lectures delivered by foreign professors is a good opportunity for locals, adding a lecture will be held every month. He expressed hope to hold more lectures, forums and workshops in the coming days.
