Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has revealed serving justice is not tyranny. The home minister made the remarks following the Criminal Court order to arrest former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom until the end of his trial on money laundering charges.
In a tweet, Home Minister Imran questioned how tyranny and serving justice can be compared.
Following the order, Yameen has now been taken to Maafushi Prison.
