Senior General Manager of State Trading Organisation Fathimath Aashaan has been removed from the position and appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO).
Furthermore, STO has also sacked two senior individuals from the company. In this regard, Head of Energy Department Ramzy Abubakur and Head of Procurement Mohamed Shujau have removed from their positions.
STO said the decision was made as part of the efforts to run the company more efficiently.
