Ministry of Higher Education has begun identifying the need for trained expertise in several fields. As part of the efforts, higher education ministry commenced a National Training Needs Analysis Validation Workshop.
The validation workshop is conducted including almost all the sectors such as education, tourism, health, administration and business. The workshop is attended by over 100 participants. During the workshops, discussions were held to identify the areas which need immediate training programmes and the number of individuals needed in the sectors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Higher Education Minister Ibrahim Hassan spoke on the importance of holding such workshops. He noted such workshops will define the vision for the development of the country and areas which need the involvement of sectors.
Speaking regarding the workshop, Deputy Minister at Higher Education Ministry Aishath Shafeena said separate surveys are conducted to identify areas to develop human resources.
