Ministry of Higher Education reveals the report compiled with regard to the suggestions and findings of the National Training Needs Analysis Validation Workshop will be published within two weeks.
The validation workshop was conducted including almost all the sectors such as education, tourism, health, administration and business. The higher education ministry held the workshop to identify the need for trained expertise in several fields. The workshop was attended by over 100 participants.
During the workshop, discussions were held to identify the areas which need immediate training programmes and the number of individuals needed in the sectors.
Speaking to PSM News on the conclusion of the workshop, Deputy Minister at the Higher Education Ministry Aishath Shafeena stated the one-day workshop highlighted on the job sector and the challenges faced in the sector.
The higher education ministry said the report will be finalised which will be followed by preparation of the strategic plan and action plan.
