Ministry of Communication, Science and Technology has endorsed the fifth edition of Maldives Marine Expo. Maldives Marine Expo is an annual event held by National Boating Association of Maldives in efforts to enhance the boating sector.
The letter of endorsement was handed over by the Minister of Communication, Science and Technology Mohamed Maleeh Jamal which was received by Vice President of Boating Association Ismail Hameed. The theme of the Maldives Marine Expo this time is marine technology.
Maldives Marine Expo was founded by Liveaboard Association of Maldives (LAM) with the objective to develop marine related businesses and bring new opportunities for the marine industry.
The main objectives of LAM are to sustain the growth of the liveaboard industry and regulate all operations according to international standards.
An extended vision of LAM is to create a recognised union that enables the broader development of marine related businesses by being a leading voice that foresees opportunities and advocate environmental awareness for the future of the marine industry.
