Opportunity closes to submit complaints on final voters' list

Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM) has closed opportunity to submit complaints regarding administrative matters in the final voters' list.

Speaking to PSM News, spokesperson and member of ECM Ahmed Akram said the electoral body provided until March 21 to submit complaints regarding the final voters' list published.

ECM finalised and published the final voters' list on March 18. The voters' list was compiled including people who are of 18 years and above as of April 6, 2019.

264,589 people are eligible to vote, which includes 2,036 first time voters, according to the final voters' list.
