Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has arrived in Maldives after completing a three-day official visit to Berlin, Germany.
During his visit, Minister Shahid met with his counterpart, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas and discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries. Minister Shahid also participated in the Fifth Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue and was a panellist at the discussion held on Geopolitics in the age of Renewable Energy.
During the visit, Shahid held side-line meetings with the Foreign Minister of Oman Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdulla, Chair of the Elders and Former President of Ireland Mary Robinson, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter and Chair of the South Asian Parliamentary Group of the Bundestag Tobias Pluger.
