Ministry of Finance has recorded a USD 460 million revenue so far in 2019.
The expenses of the state were recorded at USD 400 million which remains a profit of over USD 58 million, according to statistics published by finance ministry. As per statistics, a large amount of revenue was attributed as tax which includes Business Profit Tax (BPT), Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tourism Goods and Services Tax (TGST).
As of April 18, the revenue generated by the state includes USD 336.7 million received as tax and USD 97 million received from other sources.
Moreover, USD 63 million was attained as import duty, USD 155 million as GST, USD 16.3 million as airport service charge and USD 16.88 million as green tax.
