STO receives profit of USD 610.5 million

State Trading Organisation (STO) has received a net profit of 610.5 million US dollars in 2018. The amount is an increase of 25 percent compared to 2017.

STO stated the main reason for the increase in profit is the increase in the price of oil by 20 percent, which increased the revenue from fuel sources by 47 percent compared to 2017. Moreover, the income from other sources increased by 25 percent during last year, compared to 2017. Revenue has also increased in the first 3 months of 2019, according to statistics.

STO stated it prioritises maintaining oil prices throughout the year.
