Fenaka Corporation Limited has begun providing water supply in two islands to solve difficulties in attaining clean water for households. Round the clock supply water will be available in Hoarafushi in Haa Alifu Atoll and Hanimaadhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll without any interruptions, according to Fenaka.
Fenaka is tasked with operating the water system in the two islands, while water supply facilities were established in both islands. However, the systems were not previously activated as the islands do not have the tools to study the water supplied is safe and clean.
Fenaka said the systems have now been activated after conducting tests with assistance of Male' Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC). While Fenaka assures the residents of the islands will receive water 24 hours without interruption, water will be assessed every day.
Moreover, revealing although tools of MWSC are currently used is conducting tests to assess the water, Fenaka expressed hope to establish permanent water testing systems within the upcoming month.
