President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has extended warmest felicitations and well-wishes to the citizens of the Maldives on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his address to the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the president emphasised that in addition to being a religious holiday, Eid-ul-Fitr also represent an opportunity for citizens to feel a part of one community, and to reinvigorate our sense of goodwill and generosity towards one another.
The president called upon citizens to carry out the festivities in an inclusive manner, upholding the convivial and gregarious traditions.
