Maldives host third steering committee meeting of South Asian Regional Training and Technical Assistance Centre (SAATEC).
Speaking at the ceremony held at Paradise Island Resort, Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer said SAATEC benefits the whole South Asia region, highlighting the role played by SAATEC in overcoming financial challenges faced to regional countries. He revealed SAATEC provides various economic and financial trainings opportunities to Maldives.
Moreover, speaking at the ceremony, Governor Ahmed Naseer expressed gratitude towards SAATEC in formulating the strategic plan of Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA).
The third steering committee meeting of SAATEC was attended by members of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and SAARC countries.
