The Government of Saudi Arabia has pledged USD 50 million to Maldives for development of 2 key areas.
Speaking at the Maldives Partnership Forum 2019 held at Kurumba Maldives, a representative from the Saudi Fund for Development revealed USD 25 million would be granted for social housing development and USD 25 million for the development of the fisheries sector.
Saudi Arabia have been assisting Maldives in various development projects.
