International Maldives Travel Market (IMTM) has commenced with over 300 tour operators and exhibitors. The IMTM 2019 held in Farukolhufushi was inaugurated by Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed.
IMTM is a B2B travel and trade fair that brings together leading tour operators, travel agencies, destination management companies and other businesses related to the tourism industry from different parts of the world to explore opportunities and liaise with a major representation of the Maldives tourism industry including resorts, hotels, guesthouse, liveaboards, local travel agents and tour operators.
Speaking to PSM News, Managing Director of IMTM Private Limited Hawwa Shiuna Khalid said the fair will provide a platform to meet and discuss with likeminded partners.
The two-day fair is participated by 69 foreign tour operators, 60 resorts in Maldives and over 100 guesthouses.
The first edition of IMTM was held from in June 2018 at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi.
