As the Special Envoy of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid has called on President of Seychelles Danny Faure.
At the meeting held at the State House in Victoria, Minister Shahid extended greetings and well wishes of President Solih to President Faure and presented a letter from Maldivian president. During the call, Minister Shahid and President Faure discussed ways to further enhance the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Minister was accompanied at the call by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Development Ahmed Mahloof.
Foreign Minister Shahid is visiting Seychelles to seek support for the Maldives’ bid to host the Indian Ocean Island Games (IOIG) 2023.
