Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment has contracted the cleaning of Male' swimming track area to Good Works Maldives Private Limited. The agreement was signed by Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof and Managing Director of Good Works Maldives Mohamed Raaid.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Minister Mahloof said the ministry gets lot of complaints about the place being dirty and unhygienic, adding no authority took any responsibility of keeping the area clean.
The minister expressed hope less amount of litter and rubbish would be disposed to the area and the swimming track will remain clean after the agreement had been signed.
