Three companies to construct classrooms in three schools

Ministry of Education has contracted three companies to construct classrooms in three schools as part of the efforts to expand the facilities.

The education ministry contracted Inarco Private Limited to construct a two-storey building with six classrooms in Fiyoaree, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. The project which costs over USD 325,000 must be completed within 225 days.

Meanwhile, Maris Construction Company Private Limited was contracted to construct a two-storey building with six classrooms in Huraa, Kaafu Atoll. The project which costs over USD 260,000 must be completed within 250 days.

Furthermore, Rasheed Carpentry and Construction Private Limited was contracted to construct an eight-storey classroom building in Centre for Higher Secondary Education in Male' City. The project which costs over USD 2.140 million must be completed within 420 days.

All three projects are financed under Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP).
