Education Ministry decides to issue student reports digitally

Ministry of Education has decided to issue student report forms digitally in the future.

All student reports are to be issued digitally starting with student report forms of the second academic term where they can be viewed on a portal developed by the ministry. Although the grades are to be shared online, parents would be provided with a document highlighting student progress and other information relevant and necessary.

The ministry has decided to go digital in its attempts to go green and manage student information for a longer duration. The ministry has already begun awareness programmes to aware parents to the portal. Efforts to develop a mobile application for easier access is also underway, according to the ministry.

The ministry issued student report forms of 10 schools digitally in the first term this year. Schools close on November 21 for annual holidays this year.
