Vice President Faisal Naseem has noted the highest priority of any government should be to fulfil the needs of its people.
Speaking at a ceremony held to initiate the harbour construction project of Molhadhoo, Haa Alifu Atoll, Vice President Naseem said the administration is committed to providing basic infrastructure and services to all islands regardless of residential population size. He highlighted the commitment of the administration to maintain peace and stability in the country and urged all citizens to promote peace and stability for national harmony.
The vice president arrived in Molhadhoo as the first stop of a two-day trip to Haa Alifu Atoll and Haa Dhaalu Atoll. He was welcomed warmly by the residents upon arrival to the island. He officially opened the futsal ground and attended the ceremony to commence construction of the children park in the Island. He also visited Molhadhoo School and met with the management and staff during his stop at the island.
The next stop of the vice president will be Dhidhdhoo, the atoll capital, where he will meet the island council and atoll council.
