The government has launched a website named isles comprising information on islands. The website launched during the first-ever councilors conference contains information of all islands of Maldives and provides access to activities held in islands.
Furthermore, the website consists of information on developmental projects undertaken in the islands in addition to social and economic projects initiated by the islands. Isles also has latest information on elected councilors, contact information and other relevant information.
The website designed to provide general information under one platform also contains the latest census statistics. One major goal of launching such a website is providing access to information for all citizens, according to government.
