Two mosques to be air-conditioned using renewable energy

Ministry of Islamic Affairs has contracted Avi Technologies Private Limited to air-condition two mosques using renewable energy.

Avi Technologies will connect air-conditions of the two mosques to a solar panel system as per the agreement. In this regard, Avi Technologies will conduct the projects in Kendhikulhudhoo, Noonu Atoll and Fuvahmulah City. The project in Kendhikulhudhoo will be completed within 20 days at a cost of USD 51,793 and the project in Fuvahmulah will be completed within 20 days at a cost of USD 58,267.

The government plans to complete air-conditioning all mosques using renewable energy by the end of 2020.
