Maldivian marathon runner Nasrulla Ahmed is set to run the 57th full marathon of his career in the New Delhi International Marathon to be held this month.
Nasrulla, who holds the record for the most full marathons run by a Maldivian, will depart to New Delhi, India on February 20. The marathon takes place on February 23.
Nasrulla, who has also represented Maldives at the Asian Championship, has managed to complete most of his full marathons under 4 hours. Last year, he won first place in Delhi Marathon, as well as the TfG Marathon in Addu City. He has also won second in Maldives Marathon and third in TfG Marathon in Hulhumale’, while also achieving a top-10 finish in his age category in the Bangalore Marathon.
Nasrulla targets to acquire the record for the most sub-4-hour marathon finishes in the region.
