Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan has urged schools to ensure the facilitation of opportunities for the development of students.
Speaking at the assembly held to mark the 38th anniversary of Ahmadiyya International School, Minister Ibrahim Hassan said the years spent in school are the most important years in shaping the future of a student. Noting school years are when students learn to make their own decisions, the minister said it is very important that students are provided with sufficient opportunities for development while they are in school. He said schools must accept and acknowledge the different sets of skills possessed by students, and encourage the development of these skills.
During the assembly, the online magazine of the Ahmadiyya International School was officially launched. The magazine, which is titled “Ahmadiyya 1982”, presents academic news and information on the school.
Furthermore, the higher education minister also launched the Ahmadiyya Career Training Institute, which is to be operated under the management of the school. A special uniform was also introduced for teachers and staff of the school.
