Minister of State for Education Dr. Abdulla Rasheed Ahmed has stated the aim is to bring wholesome changes to strengthen the foundation stage in its efforts to better and revamp the education system of Maldives.
Speaking at the certificate awarding ceremony of Early Childhood Workshop, the state minister highlighted priority is given to childhood education. He further said a total of five workshops have been held this year, stressing on the importance the ministry pays to such programmes. Detailing the workshops have been conducted in collaboration with Singaporean organisations, he added the workshops included sessions on organisational mastery and the mastery of language.
The 6-day workshop conducted for pre-school teachers from Kaafu Atoll, Vaavu Atoll, Dhaalu Atoll and Male' City was aimed at equipping teachers with contemporary pedagogical practices in teaching children.
