Travel clinic established in Maldives

Maldives has established a travel clinic in its capital city. The clinic was established in Male' City to ease consulting doctors if any person experiences symptoms of COVID-19 after travelling.

Minister of Defence Mariya Ahmed Didi visited and inspected the facilities in the travel clinic. The National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has advised all locals and foreigners arriving in Maldives to seek medical assistance from the travel clinic if any symptoms are seen. The NEOC has urged citizens to call the toll-free number 1676 for further information regarding COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Maldives has strengthened safety measures following the detection of the deadly virus in the country. In this regard, all individuals must submit their 14-day travel history before entering Maldives.
