Tourist Support Centres established at VIA and HIH

Ministry of Tourism has established Tourist Support Centres at Velana International Airport (VIA) and Hulhule' Island Hotel (HIH).

In a tweet, Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed said the centres will assist in providing information to passengers travelling in and out of Maldives. The centres will be operated by the tourism ministry, Tourist Police and Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), according to the minister.

The government of Maldives has banned travels from Spain, China, Italy, Iran and some regions of Germany, France and South Korea. Meanwhile, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has banned checking-in new foreign tourists to guest houses and city hotels in the Greater Male' region.
