Manta Air has suspended flights to Kooddoo, Gaafu Alifu Atoll.
Manta Air confirmed the immediate temporary route suspensions and schedule changes due to the circumstances caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and associated travel restrictions. Manta Air said the action comes in light of the rapidly growing global COVID 19 pandemic and its effects on the domestic aviation industry. Noting the impacts and the resulting actions carried out in the fight to combat the spread of the virus, Manta Air said there has been a significant decline in demand across all domestic routes with an increasing number of cancellations of bookings.
Manta Air added after careful consideration of the situation and given the foreseeable financial impact, all flights to Kooddoo airport will be temporarily suspended effective from March 19, while flights to Dharavandhoo and Dhaalu Airport will be reduced with immediate effect. Manta Air advised checking its website for all the latest updates.
Manta Air has also established a flexible policy in adjusting travel dates and/or cancellations.
