COVID-19 patient admitted in ICU stable

National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has stated the Italian national in the intensive care unit in Dharumavantha Hospital who was tested positive for COVID-19 is currently stable.

Speaking at a press conference, Dr. Moosa Murad stated the Italian national with breathing difficulty is currently stable and his oxygen level is maintained. He further stated all individuals isolated in Farukolhufushi are doing well, adding all individuals isolated and quarantined in Maldives are currently being provided with healthcare.

All 13 individuals tested positive for COVID-19 in Maldives are foreign nationals.
