National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has established a hotline for Maldivians kept in quarantine and isolation upon returning back from abroad.
The government of Maldives has declared all Maldivians will be placed in isolation and quarantine as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19 pandemic. All Maldivians will be kept in an isolation facility for a period of 14 days, disregard to the country of their return, according to Spokesperson of NEOC Mohamed Mabrouq Azeez.
The positive cases for COVID-19 in Maldives remain at 13, of which 2 individuals have fully recovered. The positive COVID-19 cases were from all resorts and a safari. The positive cases include 5 from Kuredu Island Resort, 2 from Sandies Bathala Maldives, 2 from Kuramathi Island Resort Maldives, 2 from Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort and 2 from Island Safari.
