Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has stated 11 resorts have been allocated as quarantine facilities.
The tourism minister said 1,158 rooms from 11 resorts have been allocated to the National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC), adding a total of 2,288 beds can now be used for the purpose. The minister said 11 resorts were chosen as quarantine facilities with the initiation of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and the cooperation of tourism industry stakeholders.
The minister announced the facilities and the focal points of the facilities. He said the established focal points will provide assistance if anybody requires information regarding the situation.
