National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has revealed two individuals who tested positive for COVID-19 have fully recovered in Maldives. The total number of patients who recovered in Maldives has now reached 5.
Speaking at the press conference held at NEOC, Dr. Mohamed Ismail revealed 8 people are being treated for COVID-19 right now. Health Protection Agency (HPA) stated five patients, after their mandatory 14-day isolation period and treatment, were tested twice each, which gave negative results.
As per the latest statistics, 496 people are in quarantine facilities and 22 are in isolation facilities. While Maldives has reported 13 positive COVID-19 cases, all are foreign nationals.
