Maldivian reportedly tested positive for COVID-19 in UAE

Ministry of Health and Prevention of UAE has reported a Maldivian has been tested positive for COVID-19.

A Maldivian is included in the 50 new cases confirmed on Tuesday, according to authorities of UAE. The authorities added individuals in question are in a stable condition and receiving the necessary medical care.

News agencies in UAE reported the new cases were among individuals who had close contact with cases announced previously, as well as people who returned from abroad. The government of Maldives is working to identify the Maldivian national who tested positive for COVID-19 in UAE.
