HPA has urged all such individuals to notify immediately if any symptoms are detected.

HPA has also banned all non-essential travels between islands, as well as all social gatherings such as parties, picnics, ceremonies and sporting events. The agency has asked the task forces established in the islands to coordinate with relevant authorities in imposing the measures.

Meanwhile, authorities of islands have been requesting individuals arriving from the capital city as well as resorts and safaris to isolate themselves from the public and to maintain a minimum distance of 3 feet when meeting with anybody. Authorities have also urged the public to follow the instructions given by health professionals in maintaining proper hygiene.
