The police advised the public to be wary of such scammers and to refrain from making payments to unverified delivery services before receiving the order.
Demand for delivery services has rapidly increased following the declaration of lockdown in the Greater Male' Region. The increased demand has led to lengthy delays in delivering the orders, forcing some orders to be placed on online platforms selling different items.
