National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) has revealed two more COVID-19 patients have been transferred to Dharumavantha Hospital for close observation and monitoring.
Speaking at the daily press conference held at the NEOC, Dr. Ibrahim Afzal said of the 2 patients transferred to DH11 facility at the hospital, one needs oxygen treatment.
Maldives is currently treating 226 COVID-19 patients from the 245 cases reported positive, with 17 individuals making full recoveries. Another 2 individuals who contracted COVID-19 while in the Maldives are undergoing treatment abroad.
With two more taken to DH11, the total number of patients hospitalised now totals three, including an 80-year-old Maldivian transferred to the hospital earlier. The other two transferred are a 48-year-old male and a 68-year-old woman, both of whom are in stable condition.
