Dr. Afzal further said new cases identified now has very limited contacts which is a good sign. However, he remarked high risk areas may have already have people who have contracted COVID-19.
Meanwhile, the 88-year-old currently admitted in the DH11 facility at Dharumavantha Hospital is on ventilator. All other individuals who have tested for COVID-19 in the Maldives are otherwise in good health.
